Despacho Ceremony

 

Despacho is sacred medicine of gratitude for Pachamama, of right relationship with her & all that is. We create a beautiful mandala of appreciation throughout the ceremony, adding prayers of gratitude as the mandala builds in energy. The despacho is then buried in Pachamama’s soil (feminine) or is burned on the sacred fire for the Apukuna (mountains who grow from Pachamama - masculine). The despacho that is burned will be created as a balance to the feminine & masculine. Darci will be creating despachos on a regular basis, but if you have experienced or are going to experience a birth, new home, new way of being, business, work, project, etc., then a despacho ceremony can be created for you. Despachos can also be created for the sole reason of giving gratitude! Despachos can be individual or group creations or I can create one on my own for you. Limpias

 

Limpias are blessings or cleansings using plants, herbs, mesas (medicine bundles) and/or eggs (raw, still in their shell). Darci gathers plants, herbs & incantations that will speak with your energy to enable a connection that will transform heavy energy (hucha) to refined energy (sami) with loving gratitude. Egg cleansing aids in the clearing of energy similar to the herbs & plants & I will look at the egg oracle once the cleansing has been completed. Mesa healing calls upon the sacred spirits within the mesa to call back the fragments of soul that have broken off during trauma & fill your energy with refined, high frequency sami energy. This is also known as soul retrieval.

Soul Retrieval

 

When a trauma, no matter what size, happens, there is a part of you that splinters off. The part splinters off for self preservation from the shock of a scare or physical trauma or hearing unwanted news. This is a completely normal reaction. Luckily, shamans have been sharing their tools to be able to call back the splintered pieces of ourselves. If you are feeling that soul retrieval would be of help for you, please get in touch with me & an appointment can be made for you.

Wheel of the Year

 

The Celtic Wheel of the Year is celebrated 8 times throughout the year & brings us back to what is actually happening in the natural world around us with our part of the planet. Nature noticeably changes every two weeks & when we are busy working or at home, often the seasons surprise us by how quickly they have arrived. Taking the time out to notice & celebrate the time of year brings us back to our sense of belonging, that we are part of everything around us. The Celtic Wheel of the Year has four quarters & four cross quarters. Many of us are quite familiar with the equinoxes & solstices, but there are 4 other times in-between where nature changes dramatically. 

 

In the ceremony we will have an element of creating something specifically for that time of year. You don’t need to be a talented, creative person to make the items for the occasion, as it is the energy & intention that is placed into them that makes them what they are. On some turns of the wheel you will be asked to bring special items from home, such as Samhain where we connect with our Ancestors & you are asked to bring in photos and/or special items linked to them. There is always a shared feast using ingredients connected to the time of year, such as for Ostara, we can have a wild garlic quiche. The ritual ceremony is written by me & I will email out all the information to you ahead of time, including the ceremony, so you can prepare.

Beltane -  1st May

Litha -  21st June

Lammas - 1st August

Mabon -  21st September

 

I create ceremony for these special days on the Saturday that is closest to the dates specified, so if you would like to come along, please do! Email me & I can give you details of what you will need to bring & we can gather & celebrate with nature.

Handfasting &

Other Sacred Ceremonies

 

Handfasting is a tradition that began as something beautifully simple. Two people decided that they wanted to live together & create a new life that the two of them would weave together from their individual energies. That’s all it took for themselves & their community to consider them married. Handfasting today is a meaningful ceremony that is witnessed by close friends & family. The terms of the handfasting is that the two people design oaths to each other that will last a year and one day. On the day after the year, the two take time to spend in their own company & talk about what is working for them, what is not working for them, what they would like to bring into the relationship that is new & if they wish, to work on issues that need to be observed. Together we will create an observance of your pledges to each other that honours & respects what you desire for your gathering. 

I also offer baby naming ceremonies & rites of passage throughout life & with earthly life’s passing. 

 

Fee: £120.00
