Rune Reading

Runes are offered as an oracle of divination for you. Many times there are questions that seem perplexing & some clarity is needed, if you are at a crossroads & wish a glimpse into a direction or if there is a feeling that something just needs to come to the surface to confirm your own intuition then this is the perfect time to consult the runes.

Runes reading for me is a joy, their energy is profound & they tell it like it is; I enjoy their forthrightness & how a story unfolds with each rune creating a place in the narrative.

Please have a look at my testimonial section for what enquirers have said in regard to the readings they have had from me. As I have worked with the runes I have seen them create multi-dimensional layers of information especially for you as the story unfolds & I look forward to consulting the rune oracle on your behalf.

The history of the runes is quite a powerful one. A simplified version is that Odin, the All Father of the Vikings & great seeker of wisdom would sacrifice himself for the knowledge he sought. To receive the runes, Odin hung himself on the world tree, Yggdrasil, for nine nights & days while the weather raged around him. Odin pierced himself with his spear offering his blood & stared into the Well of Urd at the base of Yggdrasil who grew from the well & where the runes existed. So focused on his desire for the wisdom of the runes, Odin teetered on the edge between the worlds of living & dying when finally the Nornir,

who held the Runic Wisdom, saw his sacrifice was worthy &

revealed the power of the wisdom of the runes to Odin.
